Welcome!

Welcome to the Daemon Productions Blog.
Here you will find updates, sneak peeks, and exclusive releases relevant to all of our current and future projects.

Our mission is to both promote and create narrative machinima series that contain complex characters, original plots, and thought-provoking themes. We believe that machinima is an art and a sub genre of Independent Film and should be treated as such.

'Manifest Destiny', 'Murphy's OnSet', 'Zantive', 'Halo Effect', 'Unexpected', and all other machinima series or individual videos listed below were created under Microsoft’s “Game Content Usage Rules” using assets from Halo 1 PC, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST, Halo Wars, and Halo Reach © Microsoft Corporation.

Bloodshot 48 Hour Zombie Entry

Good evening, peoples of the Daemon Productions blog! I decided that my usual insomniac habits weren't extreme enough and took it up a notch with this 48 Hour contest where you write and make a six minute video on a certain subject in 48 Hours. The result is Yurei, a video about a priest who is killed by zombies and resurrected as a ghost to reclaim his temple so that he can perform the necessary rites to send the souls of the dead to heaven. He decides against it and plots to use them to do his bidding. The devil catches hold of this, and uses the now-zombified body of the priest to corrupt the priest into his service.

It's kinda obvious that the video was made in 48 hours. There are a few video and audio bugs and the story doesn't make a lot of sense. Rest assured that I'll be going over this with a fine tooth comb after I get back into a regular sleeping schedule to fix the bugs before sending it to M.com for Halloween. Regardless I still think that it hosts my finest work when it comes to cinematography and I urge you all to check it out!
